Internship / 2026
Talkerstein: Product & System Design
During my May–September 2026 internship at Talkerstein Consulting Group, I worked with founders and stakeholders on the Vision Portal and an internal project management framework. The team later built the internal project management system using my work and documentation as the foundation.
Context
The problem
Translate business needs into a system that a future implementation team could reason about: what information to collect, how it should be organized, and how people would move through the workflow.
How it fits together
Architecture & approach
My contribution covered requirements, technical planning, system structure, user-facing concepts, and documentation. The Talkerstein team carried out the subsequent implementation of the internal project management system, building on the work I handed over.

My contribution
What I worked on
- Translated business needs into requirements, workflows, and implementation plans.
- Helped define how prospective-client information would be collected, organized, and managed.
- Worked on intake-form concepts and user-facing workflows.
- Contributed to the project management tool’s framework and early technical planning.
Technical choices
The choices behind the work
The structure has to collect useful information without asking prospective clients to navigate an unnecessarily complex intake process. Working through the user journey helps expose what the system needs to know at each step.
A clear implementation plan separates developed requirements and concepts from functionality that has not yet been built. That boundary matters when handing work to others.

Results & current status
The Talkerstein team used my foundational work and documentation to build its internal project management system. My internship work provided the framework they developed further and implemented.
Testing and evidence
The work was shaped through collaboration with founders and stakeholders. No production deployment, usability-study results, or measured operational improvements are claimed.
What I learned & what comes next
System design starts with making responsibilities and information flow explicit. An effective handoff explains the workflow and the decisions still open, so the next person can build from a shared understanding.
