About me
I’m Joseph Coifman, but most people call me Joey. I study Computer Engineering at McMaster University and am looking for Summer 2027 opportunities in firmware, embedded systems, and software engineering.
My experience includes product requirements and system design at Talkerstein Consulting Group, leading McMaster IEEE’s microcontroller and microprocessor teams, and ongoing wearable-sensing research.

Outside engineering
I have a competitive tennis background, and I enjoy running. I’ve run 10KTO and have a 10K personal best under 45 minutes. I’m planning to run a half marathon in 2027.
I’ve also worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard at Mayfair Clubs.
